What is Colon Hydrotherapy/Colonic Irrigation?
Vitality Now Purifying Clinic provides a safe and caring environment for clients to improve their health and well-being through Colonic Irrigation.
Each client has a personal and confidential consultation with the practitioner where we discuss your health and lifestyle and see how we can best assist you. You are then asked to lie back on a comfortable massage table, where you are covered from the waist down.
Colonic Irrigation is a method whereby filtered, body-temperature water is introduced by low-pressure into the colon, through special sterilised tubing and catheter. Old faecal matter, excess mucous, gas, pollutants, parasites and harmful bacteria are all flushed away from the colon through a second tube.
Abdominal massage is performed during the treatment to enhance release and comfort.
The practitioner never leaves your side. It is a gentle and thorough treatment that is controlled by yourself and the practitioner. It is not painful, nor does it smell.
- Do you empty your bowels at least once a day with ease? Or do you ignore the urge to go because you're too busy doing other things?
- Are you dependent on laxatives to be able to even have a movement?
- Are you taking regular pain medication for a medical condition?
- Do you drink at least 2 litres of purified water each day, not including other drinks? Or do you mainly consume coffee, tea, alcohol and soft drinks?

Years of poor dietary habits, general dehydration, inconsistent exercise and ignoring the urge 'to go' can leave your bowel clogged with a lot of old garbage that never got 'put out'.
And just like normal garbage it starts to putrify and encourage unhealthy bacteria, leaving you feeling heavy, sick and bloated.
Colonic Irrigation is simple, safe and speedily effective when it is properly administered, and when combined with sensible lifestyle changes, can go a long way to creating good elimination and better bowel health.

A sterile, disposable pack, containing the speculum and tubing is opened in the presence of the client before the colonic is commenced and disposed of immediately upon the conclusion of the treatment. The tubes are designed for gas and fluid evacuation during the procedure and comply with F.D.A. Regulation 21 GER 177.1350
The tubes have been tested for cytotoxicity and meet the requirements of a USP Plastic Class V, ensuring the safety of our clients and the practitioner.
